Today cabinet has decided to extend lockdown in Pakistan for two weeks. This decision is for all provinces, AJK & Gilgit Baltistan. Prime minister Imran khan & cabinet members agreed on the extension of lockdown due to novel coronavirus.

In a news briefing, Hammad Azhar current Federal Minister of Industries and Production said we need to treat daily wage workers softly & open construction industry as all cabinet members agreed upon.

He also indicated that we will open low-risk industries but we still don’t have exact names of those industries yet to share with you.

In Pakistan, this is already the 4th week of lockdown. Sindh was the first province that observed lockdown on 24th March 2020. All other provinces choose lockdown after seeing the rapid spread of COVID19.

The government is doing all their efforts to let people stay at home. There were few cases of disobeying registered or seen that later on settled.
